Technology!!
I am creating a post about a technology... (week 3)... I was at Best Buy on Sunday and tried out the touch screen HP computer. I know it came out a year or so ago, but I haven't ever tried it out. It is pretty neat, but super sensitive. I was wondering if anyone else has used it or owns one? I was playing with it and dreaming about getting one and then the teacher in started thinking...How many germs were on the screen?? Yikes... I'm not sure my handy Lysol spray or Clorox wipes would be O.K. to use on it!? With all the flu and other viruses going around I quickly quit playing with the computer and got out my antibacterial lotion. Are any of you other teacher as crazy about germs as I am??

I'm not quite that bad. I have about 4 different bottles of hand sanitizer in my room that kids can use at any time they want or that I think they need to. I have an ipod Touch and I haven't let my kids use it yet in the room. Some of it has to do with germs, but a lot of it is just that I can't stand filthy, grubby hands on my expensive stuff!
ReplyDeleteI just got an ipod touch for my birthday and am learning how to use it. It is so neat, but does seem a bit sensitive.
